Background

After acquiring Magento - Adobe decided to end support for all versions of Magento 1 with the launch of Magento 2 mobile first platform. In order to stay PCI Compliant and keep their customer data safe a migration to Magento 2 was needed.

The Challenge

PSC Motorsports’ original website was built on the Magento 1 platform which was soon to be out of support. The staff at PSC Motorsports had become frustrated with the lack of B2B functionality from Magneto 1’s outdated platform version which was limiting the expansion of their B2B business. The back-end of Magneto 1 was also complex, non-intuitive, requiring a large amount of time spent by the staff to manage. Magneto 1 end of life was fast-approaching and the company needed an experienced agency that was highly skilled and experienced in migrating M1 sites over to M2.
