Background

Regis Manufacturing needed a way for their customers to purchase online, so in 2016 they hired a freelancer to setup a Bigcommerce store. After a few years on the platform, they knew that something just was not right, the site was slow, the mobile phone version did not look good, and they knew that making small changes should not be difficult.

The Challenge

Regis manufacturing website had been built on BigCommerce's legacy Blueprint framework and therefore lacked mobile responsiveness and speed. It was also difficult to make changes without CSS and HTML coding. Individual products were created when configurable products would be the best solution. The search function was complicated, and there were unnecessary steps between the product and the buyer.
